GalleryResidential FloodingA leak from a second-floor bathroom caused extensive damages to the bathroom, second floor hallway, and first floor kitchen and living room ceilings. ATA's experts corrected the problem, and the homeowners were back on their feet in no time. Commercial Fire, Soot, and Water DamageWhen Ma Glockner's caught fire, the flames and soot weren't the only problems. The building's sprinklers were activated by the fire, and they caused significant water damage. ATA was called in to correct the situation, and get Ma Glockner's back up and running. Fire and Soot DamageThis is an extreme case of fire damage, where most contents had to be discarded and the home had to be almost completely gutted. In most cases, a thorough cleaning and paint job are all that is needed to restore the home to its original condition MoldThis home suffered water damage that was not remediated properly. Over time, a serious mold problem developed. To remedy this situation, the walls and ceiling had to be demolished down to the studs, and the studs were treated with a hepa sander to eliminate the mold. Ice DamsIce swelled this house's siding and wood and, when it began to melt, water slowly seeped into the house and caused extensive damage. Because the process was so slow, it went unnoticed by the homeowner until damage had been done. Sewage Backup CleanupA sewage ejection pipe broke, leaking sewage all over the basement and living areas on first floor of this home. Initial cleanup was of an urgent nature, obviously. ATA removed the sewage, sprayed antimicrobial solution, and disposed of anything that came in contact with the sewage. Next, we began to demolish the walls, carpets, and all structural elements that came into contact with the sewage, and spray anti microbial a second time. Falling Tree DamageDuring recent heavy storms, a tree fell and damaged a house. After the roof damage was sealed, ATA was called in to perform water remediation, as rainwater from the storm had gotten into the home. Furnace "Puff Back"When homeowners activate their furnaces for the first time in the winter, they will sometimes experience "puff back", or soot coming back through the vents throughout the house. This leaves a fine, difficult-to-clean layer of carbon on all surfaces. ATA corrects the problem by wiping down nonporous surfaces with dry chemical sponges, and cleaning all soft materials (upholestry, drapes, etc). Burst PipesWhile the homeowner was away, the second floor bathroom pipes burst. Water ran for days, from the second floor right through to the basement. ATA had to gut a great deal of the house, including wood floors and drywall. |
